Increase in Child Care Slots

Empowerment has partnered with business to create additional childcare slots so that more children in Scott County can be cared for as parents work or attend school. Funds are available to purchase large start up equipment for new childcare programs with solid business plans or existing programs that are expanding. Facilities that have received Empowerment funds in this funding cycle are: Davenport Early Childhood Programming – 94 slots.
